Biography
Emerging from Houston's vibrant rap community during the late 1990s, Lil' Troy achieved national visibility through "Wanna Be a Baller," among the rare Houston tracks to connect with audiences across the country at that moment. The track secured him a deal with Universal Records, which issued his album Sittin' Fat Down South in 1998. He resurfaced years afterward with Back to Ballin on Short Stop Records in 2001.
