Juan Facundo Almenara Ordóñez records under the name Luck Ra as an Argentine singer-songwriter immersed in Latin urban music. Exposure to Guitar Hero sparked his initial curiosity about music during childhood, prompting him to pick up the guitar and briefly join a rock band before he gravitated toward the dominant trap and urban styles of the era. He began issuing tracks around 2017, though a conflict with his original label interrupted momentum until his profile surged in 2020 through consistent Twitch streaming. The 2021 release of “Te Mentiría” marked his breakthrough, after which his trajectory accelerated without pause. Luck Ra emerged as a central figure in Argentina’s urban landscape by maintaining a steady flow of singles while forging partnerships across genres, most notably cumbia and cuarteto, both deeply rooted in his native Córdoba province. Sony Music issued his first full-length project, Que Nos Falte Todo, in 2024; the album gathered several major successes, among them “La Morocha” with BM, “Hola Perdida” with Khea, “Que Me Falte Todo” with Abel Pintos, “Ya No Vuelvas (Versión Cuarteto)” with La K’onga and Ke Personajes, and “Quiero Creer” with La T y La M and Rusherking, each exceeding 100 million streams across primary platforms.
