Biography
Tiago PZK emerged from Monte Grande and established himself amid Argentina’s lively rap community in the early 2020s. He first sharpened his abilities inside the country’s leading freestyle circuit before turning his focus to composing original material. After his breakthrough with “Sola,” the vocalist leveraged his flexible delivery to reach listeners worldwide through tracks such as “Además de Mí (Remix),” “No Me Conocen (Remix),” and “Entre Nosotros,” the last of which featured on his 2022 album Portales. Following prominent successes alongside Tini and the collective Los del Espacio, he delivered the follow-up full-length Gotti A in 2024.
Introduced to hip-hop by Eminem’s storied confrontations in the film 8 Mile, the Argentine artist began refining his craft at thirteen by entering freestyle contests throughout his homeland. Years spent in those arenas led him to start writing and issuing his own songs. He first drew widespread notice at fifteen with the trap single “Andamo en la Cima,” then sustained momentum via “Bandolero” and “Bendiceme.” Appearances at events including El Quinto Escalón and Batalla de Maestros strengthened his standing, while he expanded his body of work through the Valor de la Calle EP and singles such as “Finde” and “Te Fuiste.” The 2019 release “Sola” became his defining moment; its candid account of domestic violence in his father’s home amassed millions of streams and was later selected by the United Nations for an awareness campaign.
Into the early 2020s the singer kept issuing material at a steady pace, releasing “En la Oscuridad” and “Viento” among other tracks. The “Cerca de Tí (Remix)” assembled several voices from Argentina’s rising rap generation—LIT Killah, Seven Kayne, Rusherking, Bhavi, and Tobi—and surpassed one hundred million streams. A burst of joint projects in 2021 brought further international reach. Tiago’s contribution to Rusherking’s “Además de Mí (Remix),” another showcase for local talent, delivered his first number-one single that March and later exceeded three hundred million streams. July’s “No Me Conocen (Remix),” featuring BANDIDO, Duki, and Rei, supplied a second chart-topper. He quickly displaced that two-week reign with his own “Entre Nosotros,” a collaboration with LIT Killah that accumulated over a million streams and held Argentina’s top position for seven weeks. Additional partnerships, among them FMK’s “Yo Se Que Tu” and “Prende la Cámara” plus María Becerra’s “Cazame,” reinforced his status as one of the nation’s foremost new artists. The 2022 album Portales contained the single “Sex & Love.” Later that year the Tini duet “El Último Beso,” drawn from her record Cupido, reached the Top Ten. In June 2023 the supergroup Los del Espacio, which included LIT Killah, María Becerra, and Duki, sent “Los del Espacio” to number one. Tiago and Tini soon returned to the Top Ten with “Me Enteré,” and the artist issued his next album, Gotti A, in July 2024.
