Biography
Mig Ayesa, recognized primarily for his participation in the 2004 television series Rockstar:INXS, entered the world in the Philippines before growing up in Sydney, Australia. From childhood, music captured his attention, yet it was during adolescence, upon encountering jazz piano, that he started composing and delivering original pieces. Before joining the Rockstar:INXS cast, he performed with multiple ensembles in the Sydney area and explored acting opportunities with moderate success. This trajectory naturally directed him toward England in 2001, where he took on parts in stage musicals such as the role of Ritchie Valens in Buddy: The Buddy Holly Story, along with appearances in Rent and additional productions. Although he advanced only as far as the final three contestants vying for the position of INXS's new frontman during the competition, his nuanced rendition of Peter Frampton's "Baby, I Love Your Way" stood out prominently on the program, attracting a substantial following. In 2007, Decca issued his first solo album, titled Mig.
