Biography
Finishing third during the eleventh season of Fox’s American Idol vocal competition brought Joshua Ledet widespread notice for his classic gospel-and-soul singing style. Born in Westlake, Louisiana, he first developed his voice performing in church and later took part in his high-school theater productions. An earlier attempt to join the tenth season of American Idol ended without advancement. Once his run on the program concluded, Ledet joined the American Idols LIVE! Tour 2012 and contributed a track to the American Idol Season 11: Highlights compilation.
