Monsters of Liedermaching

The ensemble Monsters of Liedermaching assembles on a classic biergarten bench for live appearances, operating less as a standard band than as a loose gathering of kindred artists. Rüdiger Bierhorst, Jens Burger, Peer Jensen, January Labinski, Frederick Timm, and Torsten Kühn rotate through their individual compositions, interjecting to bolster one another and thereby generating a shared folk presentation. The collective issued its first album, 6 Richtige, in 2004, yet chart entry arrived only with the 2012 release of Schnaps & Keske.
