Biography
Born David Olof Peter Pagmar, the Swedish singer/songwriter who records as Montt Mardié delivers music marked by an ethereal, soulful falsetto and genre-bending sensibilities that recall fellow Scandinavians Jens Lekman, Tobias Fröberg, and Loney, Dear. His first album, Drama, appeared on Hybris in 2005. One year later came the EP Science, which preceded the 2007 double album Clocks/Pretender. That set contained a disc of duets with artists such as Jens Lekman, Hello Saferide, Andreas Mattson, and Vapnet.
