Biography
Known for his contributions to indie pop, Swedish singer and songwriter Pelle Carlberg performs with the support of multi-instrumentalist Henrik Nilsson. Recording agreements link him to Twentyseven Records in the United States and Labrador in Sweden. Uppsala, Sweden, provided the setting for Carlberg’s upbringing, during which he participated in multiple bands from 1988 onward. After completing English coursework at the University of Stockholm, he formed Edson in the late 1990s while holding an office position. A handful of releases emerged from the group before Carlberg pursued greater creative independence through solo work. The resulting projects were the albums Everything. Now! in October 2005 and In a Nutshell in March 2007.
