Biography
Johan Hedberg, the Swedish singer and songwriter, first rose to notice through his partnership in the indie pop duo Suburban Kids with Biblical Names. Together with his friend Peter Gunnarson, he launched the project in 2003, after which the pair issued a succession of literate, melodic EPs and albums through the Swedish twee pop label Labrador Records. Hedberg issued his initial solo recording, the 5-Spars EP, in 2007 while the duo remained active. Once Suburban Kids with Biblical Names tapered off near the close of the decade, he directed greater energy toward his own material and delivered his first full-length album, Paradiset, in 2014.
