Timo Raisanen, the offbeat Swedish indie rocker, first cultivated his trademark falsetto during childhood through a five-year membership in the Gothenburg boys' choir. Before striking out on his own, he attained modest recognition as the youthful backing singer for Her Majesty and, afterward, for Håkan Hellström. Upon landing a recording contract with Razzia, he made his solo debut in 2005 via Lovers Are Lonely, an album that yielded both a self-titled single and "Don't Let the Devil Ruin It All." The follow-up effort I'm Indian appeared the next year. His third studio album, Love Will Turn You Around, was scheduled to arrive in late summer 2007, with its opening single "Sweet Marie" issued that spring.
