Melissa Horn

Astrid Melissa Edwarda Horn Weitzberg entered the world on April 8, 1987, and records as the contemporary Swedish singer/songwriter Melissa Horn. Her first album, Långa Nätter, arrived in 2008 and reached the Top Ten. She is the daughter of Maritza Horn, the Swedish vocalist who appeared in ABBA - The Movie (1977) before pursuing a decade-long recording career of her own. After securing a major-label contract with Sony BMG, Horn issued Långa Nätter as her solo debut; the project yielded the singles “Långa Nätter,” “En Famn För Mig,” and “Som Jag Hade Dig Förut,” the last of which was a duet with Lars Winnerbäck.
