Anna Jarvinen, a Scandinavian singer/songwriter linked to both Granada and Dungen, enjoys a strong following across Finland and Sweden. Her first solo album appeared in 2007, while her follow-up reached the Top Ten two years later. Born April 16, 1970, in Helsinki yet long resident in Stockholm, she launched her recording work inside the Swedish outfit Granada, serving as a central singer/songwriter from 1998 through 2003. Once she departed, Jarvinen joined forces with the Swedish psychedelic rock group Dungen and producer Mattias Glavå; their sessions, held from July 2005 to November 2006 in Gothenburg, yielded the Häpna release Jag Fick Feeling, her initial full-length solo effort. She again worked with Dungen on the 2009 album Man Var Bland Molnen, which Dungen member Gustav Ejstes produced and which climbed to the Top Ten in Finland alongside a Top 20 placement in Sweden.
