Adrian Lux, the Swedish producer and DJ, crafts upbeat dance-pop compositions that exalt the grandeur and vibrancy of youth. His productions typically incorporate glistening synth textures, delicate guitar lines, and emotive vocal deliveries, while the words frequently explore unsettled emotions alongside a longing for romance. The 2008 La Vida Locash release “Strawberry” marked his first single, with “Can't Sleep” arriving the following year. Remixes for Basement Jaxx and Deborah Cox soon drew notice from leading EDM figures including Avicii and Axwell. In 2010 he issued the single “Teenage Crime,” which featured vocals by Linnéa Martinsson, known as Lune, and registered on multiple international charts. During 2011 he reworked tracks for Korn, Britney Spears, and Roxette while also unveiling the singles “Alive,” featuring the Good Natured, and “Boy,” recorded with Rebecca & Fiona. Ultra Records put out his self-titled debut album in 2012, and the club-focused collection Some Remixed and Some Extended appeared not long afterward. The same label later issued the Make Out EP in 2014, after which “Torn Apart” surfaced on Axwell’s Axtone imprint in 2015. After the independent 2016 release “Alicia,” Spinnin’ Records’ SOURCE label put out “All Aloud” in 2017.
