Morgan Page, a DJ and producer rooted in progressive house, built a presence during the middle years of the 2000s by issuing multiple singles across numerous imprints and reworking material from acts such as Terry Lee Brown, Jr. and Ashlee Simpson. Wider recognition arrived when his 2009 pairing with folksinger Lissie on “The Longest Road” secured a first Grammy nomination in the Best Remixed Recording category. Later full-length projects, among them 2012’s In the Air and 2015’s DC to Light, plus further singles and reworkings issued through the close of the decade, reinforced his standing. A visible presence in present-day dance music, Page appears at leading festivals worldwide, has maintained residencies in Las Vegas, and continues to host an ongoing Sirius XM program.

Born in Vermont, Page started producing electronic music at age 12. Prior to finishing high school he drew notice from local free-form radio DJs and began spinning records himself at the University of Vermont’s station, which expanded his grasp of dance styles, particularly house. Following an internship at the Plastic City label, he launched a consistent output of 12-inch singles, placing several each year between 2000 and 2006. Those tracks surfaced on Nordic Trax, Fiji, Bedrock, Saw, LowDown, and Force Tracks; he also supplied remixes for Alanis Morissette and Men, Women & Children. Nettwerk signed him, resulting in the 2008 album Elevate, which mixed original material with further reworkings. That same year he teamed again with Lissie for the single “The Longest Road,” earning a Grammy nomination for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical.

Momentum continued with 2010’s Believe and a second Grammy nomination, this time for a remix of Nadia Ali’s “Fantasy.” Page maintained a busy touring schedule that included appearances at Coachella and Electric Zoo plus headline slots at major clubs. His fourth album, In the Air, arrived in 2012; the title track topped Billboard’s Hot Dance Airplay chart. A three-year residency at The Wynn in Las Vegas preceded a move to Light at Mandalay Bay, timed just ahead of his fifth album, DC to Light, which included guest contributions from Angela McCluskey and Lissie. Over the following three years Page concentrated on standalone releases, reuniting with Lissie for 2016’s “Don’t Give Up,” joining Steve James for the 2017 hit “Candles,” and linking with Jayceeoh and Kaleena Zanders on 2018’s “Lost Dreams.” The Born to Fly EP and the solo track “Let You Go” also appeared that year, while “Fire & Gold” and “Footprints” followed in 2019.
