Neve

L.A.'s youthful pop/rock outfit Neve came together in 1997, sparked when John Stephens and Michael Raphael first teamed up after earlier time spent in assorted local bands. Brian Burwell and Tommy Gruber, both prior playing partners of Stephens, soon completed the lineup, after which the group started booking shows at high schools along with standard clubs. Growing excitement quickly surrounded Neve, resulting in a recording contract with Columbia Records. The debut single "It's Over Now" landed on the soundtrack for The Faculty, and "Skyfall" was placed in the Here on Earth soundtrack. The band's self-titled full-length appeared in mid-2000.
