Biography
Jasan Radford and Levon Sultanian launched Onesidezero in Los Angeles. The band experienced numerous personnel shifts across subsequent years until Brett Kane, Rob Basile, and Christian Hernandez completed the roster. Persistent performances on the local club scene gradually built a substantial audience that proved decisive for the group’s fortunes. That devoted following directly sparked interest from record labels when supporters uploaded mp3 files of the demo to Napster, prompting A&R executives to discover the tracks. The exposure resulted in a contract with Madonna’s Maverick imprint. In 2001 the album Is This Room Getting Smaller reached retail outlets.
