Biography
A native of New York, Pal Joey absorbed house and hip-hop from an early age before fusing the two styles across the twelve volumes of his Loop-D-Loop singles series. Soul influences and contributions from live jazz musicians shaped the 1995 Instinct Records release Section of Life by his New Breed project. Production work for Deee-Lite, Boogie Down Productions, Shabba Ranks and MC Lyte stands alongside remixes he delivered for Lisa Stansfield, the Orb and Sade.
