Biography
Born in the USA, this early-90s producer based in Brooklyn, New York City, developed his technique while apprenticing under Arthur Baker inside Shakedown Studio. Following editing duties on material by Al Jarreau and David Bowie, he teamed with Lenny Dee to launch the remix collective Brooklyn Street Essentials and has remained active in that field ever since. His various aliases encompassed Groove Committee, which issued ‘Dirty Games’ on Nu Groove, plus Solution, Ebony Soul and the Street Players. He has always insisted on shaping fully-fledged songs instead of relying solely on strong rhythmic tracks. He further collaborated with Tommy Musto in the duo Colourblind.
