Biography
Plaza suR emerged as a sharply dressed Spanish trio of Fran, Salva, and Adri after forming in Malaga. Producer and songwriter Timmy Ropero, whose credits include María Jiménez and Malú, discovered the group, whose sound reflects U.S. inspirations such as Michael Jackson, Jason Mraz, and Boyz II Men together with Latin pop counterparts Tiziano Ferro, Marc Anthony, and Alejandro Sanz. Their debut album, the flamenco-infused Y Soñe, arrived in 2011 and contained the single "Ella Me Quiere" plus a version of the sacred standard "La Saeta."
