Biography
Billy Graziadei, serving as the band's guitarist and vocalist, characterized Powerflo as a blend of Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath, and Cypress Hill. The rap-metal group emerged from the combined efforts of Biohazard's Graziadei, ex-Fear Factory bassist/guitarist Christian Olde Wolbers, Worst drummer Fernando Schaefer, ex-Downset guitarist Rogelio Lozano, and Cypress Hill rapper Sen Dog. Although formed in 2017, its origins reached back to the 1990s, when the musicians frequently joined forces during overlapping tours. That May, Powerflo released the single "Resistance" to precede their self-titled debut album, which appeared the next month.
