Biography
E-Town Concrete assembled in Elizabeth, New Jersey, during 1995 and issued their first album, Time 2 Shine, via Back to Basics two years later. Metal heavy hitters Triple Crown Records delivered the follow-up, The Second Coming, in 2000. By blending metal, hip-hop, and hardcore, the foursome cultivated a devoted East Coast following, with one store—Vintage Vinyl in Fords, NJ—moving 4,000 copies of the album independently, driven chiefly by the group’s regular New Jersey performances and nonstop road work.
