Biography
Pianist Rosemary Tuck hails from Sydney, Australia, where she studied under John Winthier, Walter Hauzig, and Andrzej Esterhazy. Supported by the Australian-American Bicentennial Foundation, she presented recitals across the United States before extending her concert schedule through Ireland, England, Denmark, France, Cyprus, New Zealand, and Australia. International festivals that have featured her include Aarhus Festuge, Wexford Festival, Liszt en Provence, and Vendsyssel Festival. As soloist she has appeared with Southbank Sinfonia, English Chamber Orchestra, ABC Sinfonia, and Orchestra of the City of London. Tuck has promoted the works of nineteenth-century composers William Vincent Wallace and Carl Czerny, collaborating with Richard Bonynge on Naxos recordings of their music. For Marco Polo she also produced two albums devoted to solo piano pieces by Albert Ketèlbey. In 2001 she opened the William Vincent Wallace Millennium Plaza in Waterford, Ireland.
