Biography
British pianist and composer Angela Brownridge made her concert debut at seven and had already taken the stage as a concerto soloist by fourteen. A scholarship carried her to Edinburgh University, after which she pursued further training in Rome. Additional instruction came from Maria Curcio, supported by an Arts Council Award together with a grant from the Vaughan Williams Trust. International engagements have since taken her across Great Britain, Europe, the United States, Canada, and Asia for both concerto appearances and solo recitals, while invitations as guest artist have included the Bath International Music Festival and the Edinburgh International Festival. Her discography appears on Challenge Classics, Cameo Classics, EMI, Delphian, ASV, and Hyperion.
