Scot Sax

Scot Sax, a singer and songwriter working in the neo-power pop vein, first earned notice among devotees of power pop through his roles in Wanderlust and Bachelor Number One. The second of those groups placed a track on the American Pie soundtrack. His initial solo project, a self-titled record issued by Not Lame during summer 2001, merged the classic pop textures of the British Invasion with the present-day outlook of songwriters such as Elliott Smith, Aimee Mann, and Tal Bachman.
