Shun

Shun channels taut, urgent textures through an alternative pop/rock lens, delivering incendiary tracks steeped in unfiltered rock & roll energy. Formed in 1997, the Nashville outfit operates as a five-piece fronted by vocalist Billy White alongside guitarists David Crutcher and Cris Hawkins, bassist Richie Glover, and drummer Jac Glenn. The group channels an ongoing search for the most persuasive facets of rock’s outsider traditions. In 1998 the band issued its debut recording, a demo that captured the bulk of its early material. Those singular songs opened doors to shared stages with Stuck Mojo and Nothingface, secured notable rotation on regional stations, and helped cultivate a loyal audience. The EP Michael in Reign appeared in 2001.
