Biography
Shuvel, the rap-rock ensemble from Wichita, Kansas, takes cues from the Beastie Boys and Rage Against the Machine while fusing political themes with hard-edged rock and a pair of MCs. Ahead of issuing their first album, Set It Off, in late summer, the group placed a track on the Celebrity Deathmatch soundtrack, joined tours alongside like-minded bands such as Kittie and Sevendust, and performed at the Methods of Mayhem and Ozzfest 2000 festivals.
