SISTERS

Hailing from Seattle, the duo SISTERS crafts buoyant synth-pop that channels an exuberant blend of 1980s dance energy and adult contemporary polish. The project came together in 2014 around singer/keyboardist Andrew Vait and singer/keyboardist/drummer Emily Westman. The pair first encountered each other as music students at the University of Miami’s Frost School of Music. After graduation both relocated independently to Seattle, where they later reconnected as participants in the Seattle Rock Orchestra. Their debut album, Wait Don't Wait, arrived in 2017 and spotlighted the single “Don’t Let Go.” Two years afterward they assembled the EP We Can Get Together, pairing two remixes drawn from the debut with the new tracks “We Can Get Together” and “Queer Life.”
