Sky Blu

Sky Blu maintains a dual identity as an independent performer and one half of the electro-rap duo LMFAO, while also claiming lineage as the grandson of Motown founder Berry Gordy. Skyler Austen Gordy came into being and, in 2006, co-established LMFAO together with his uncle RedFoo. The partnership yielded two albums—Party Rock in 2009 and Sorry for Party Rocking in 2011—along with the worldwide smash hit "Party Rock Anthem" and a shared stage appearance with Madonna at the Super Bowl XLVI halftime show, after which the group entered hiatus in 2012. A year later Sky Blu began his solo path by issuing the singles "Salud" and "Pop Bottles" together with his debut album, Rebel Music.
