Soha

Soha, a French contemporary R&B vocalist, put out her first album during 2007. With roots in Algeria, this Marseille native draws from a spectrum of sounds that includes U.S. jazz, blues, and soul alongside reggae from Jamaica and various Latin styles. After inking a deal with Virgin Music, the singer issued D'Ici et d'Ailleurs that same year; Antoine Essertier, known for his hits, joined François Welgryn to handle production and co-writing duties on the project. The record, which includes the track "Tourbillon (Serre-moi Fort Si Tu M'aimes)," received a 2008 re-release containing extra tracks and subsequently reached position 42 on France's album rankings.
