Biography
After building a following through performances across the Philadelphia region, Sola reached a national audience once Obey Your Brain issued the instrumental post-rock group’s first album, The Bottom, in 2002. The five-piece unit featured drummer/multi-instrumentalist Chris Powell, percussionist Greg Giuliano, guitarist Dave Moylan, bassist Carly Van Anglen, and electric pianist Eric Wareheim; the musicians had started out under the name the Science Of before adopting Sola.
