Stefan Goldmann

Born in Berlin, Germany, Stefan Goldmann works as a minimal techno producer and maintains a part-time home in Sofia, Bulgaria. His recording career launched in the early 2000s via the Classic label. Later releases appeared on Front Room Recordings, Ovum Recordings, Perlon, Innervisions, and Mule Electronic. He also puts out music through the Berlin-based Macro label, which he established in 2007. Barricade and Simitli function as his aliases, and he constitutes one half of the duo Vinyl together with Bulgarian producer Strahil Velchev. His album projects encompass the 2008 double-disc release The Transitory State on Macro as well as the 2009 DJ mix The Empty Foxhole issued by Mule Electronic.
