TEEN BLUSH

Hailing from Chicago, Teen Blush specializes in atmospheric, goth-tinged synth pop in the vein of the 1980s, a style showcased on the 2020 release Between My Teeth. The act surfaced that same year in the city as the primary outlet for Ken Foss, who performs as singer, songwriter, and instrumentalist. Taking cues from groups including Depeche Mode and Joy Division, Foss initiated online track postings with the three-song EP Between My Teeth. He issued the standalone single “Ghost” in 2021, then delivered the more expansive It’s a Pleasure to Be Here EP the next year, which produced the singles “Turning” and “Other Faces.”
