Biography
Oregon-based rapper the Dirtball, born David Alexander, fuses Twista’s lightning-fast delivery with Eminem’s off-color lyrics through his rapid-fire approach, yielding a sound that hammers listeners’ senses and may also test their sensibilities. Ahead of his entry into the stoner rap collective Kottonmouth Kings, he issued multiple projects on the group’s Suburban Noize label, opening with 2005’s Pop-A-D-Ball, then 2006’s Raptillion, and 2008’s Crook County. The rapper first appeared with the Kings on their 2010 album Long Live the Kings. The next year he delivered Nervous System, his fourth solo album.
