Biography
The 'Go' Boys operated as a working band throughout the region surrounding Washington, D.C. One version of the group included Russ Willaford on lead guitar, Tommy Junkersfield at the piano, Tuckie Leary on bass, and Gene Foster on sax, with the drum chair rotating among several players over time, among them Bob Yarrington. In the studio they recorded alongside L'Captains, directed by Herman Bethea, and supplied backing for Dudley Callicutt on selected dates for Lillian Claiborne's DC label.
