Biography
The Isles, a New York City quartet devoted to indie pop, draw substantial influence from the Smiths. Their EP Back to Terrific appeared on Binder Records in 2005, after which the U.K. label Melodic issued the full-length Perfumed Lands in October 2006. In 2006 the lineup comprised drummer Tim McCoy, singer/guitarist Andrew Geller, bassist Ryan McCoy, and guitarist Ben Haberland.
