The Locos

Drawing from the retro sounds of the Nomads, the Ramones, the Cynics, and the Sonics, Sweden’s the Locos delivered their brand of irreverent garage punk to their native country. The quartet—Diesel Eye on guitar, Tommy on vocals and guitar, Nicklas on drums, and Arto GTO on bass and vocals—launched their live career in 1996 and spent the ensuing two years performing throughout Scandinavia, sharing bills with the Hellacopters, the Hymans, and Gluecifer. In 1999 Mi-Mo Sound Records issued the band’s debut full-length, Screwed Up.
