Tom VR

Operating out of Leeds, DJ and producer Tom VR specializes in subtle, emotionally resonant dance tracks suited equally to club environments and personal listening via headphones. While his work has traditionally relied on a standard four-on-the-floor rhythm, his first album-length release, Films from 2018, expanded into additional styles by weaving in breaks and ambient textures.

The year 2017 marked Tom VR's arrival on the scene, coinciding with his co-founding of the Valby Rotary imprint together with Louf and Jeigo. Valby 002 served as his initial EP and the label's second output overall. Additionally, he put out the Frissons EP via All My Thoughts, the imprint run by Seb Wildblood, which later handled the release of Films in the subsequent year.
