Towers of London fuse the blistering drive of Sex Pistols-era British punk, the indulgent swagger of '80s hair metal, and the tabloid-fueled exploits of Oasis and the Libertines into an explosive dose of rock & roll excess. The rowdy English pub rockers came together in Liverpool during the late '90s, featuring lead vocalist Donny Tourette, guitarist Dirk Tourette, lead guitarist the Rev, bassist Tommy Brunette, and drummer Snell. In 2005 they signed with TVT Records and put out the hit singles "How Rude She Was," "Fuck It Up," "Air Guitar," and "On a Noose." Their first full-length album, Blood Sweat and Towers, surfaced in summer 2006, with Fizzy Pop appearing two years later.
