Biography
Born and raised in Miami, Florida, freestyle vocalist Trinere emerged from a city that served as a key center for the post-disco club hybrid she advanced alongside Pretty Tony. Her introduction arrived via the Jam Packed label in 1984 on the Pretty Tony-produced single "I Know You Love Me," which found favor in underground circles. Between 1986 and 1987 she maintained visibility through the Billboard club chart Top 15 entries "I'll Be All You Ever Need," "How Can We Be Wrong," and "They're Playing Our Song," each of which also registered on the Hot Black Singles chart. Her full-length releases, beginning with the hit-filled Trinere in 1986 and extending to Trinere's in the House in 1992, appeared exclusively on Miami imprints such as Jam Packed, Pandisc, and Luke. She maintained a performing career that later included work with Brandon Christopher, known as Miami Marci and the son she shares with Pretty Tony.
