Biography
Since 1993 the Chicago band Triple Fast Action has maintained a core lineup of Wes Kidd on vocals and guitar, Kevin Tihista on bass and vocals, Brian St. Clair on drums, and Ronnie Schneider on guitar, with Local H guitarist Scott Lucas occasionally filling out the touring roster—an arrangement Kidd has reciprocated by performing with Local H. Kidd and St. Clair first played together in the teen punk band Rights of the Accused, then shifted toward pop-inflected songwriting when they formed TFA. The quartet has released two albums, Broadcaster in 1996 and Cattlemen Don't in 1997, plus a series of singles on the Limited Potential and Hit It! labels. Outside his Triple Fast Action commitments, Kidd joined Mark Trombino to co-produce Jimmy Eat World’s 1996 debut album Static Prevails.
