Turbostaat

Emerging from Flensburg in 1999, the five-piece German punk group Turbostaat weaves taut, propulsive beats together with sweeping guitar lines. Its opening statement arrived as Flamingo in 2001. Schwan followed in 2003, then Vormann Leiss in 2007 and Das Island Manöver in 2010. The band’s fifth full-length, Stadt der Angst, surfaced in 2013.
