Visigoth

Salt Lake City, Utah’s Visigoth draw their name from the especially fierce faction of nomadic Germanic Goths that contributed to Rome’s collapse amid the Roman Empire’s waning years in the late fourth century. The five-piece outfit, formed in 2010, delivers meticulously constructed, fantasy-oriented power metal evocative of Manowar, Judas Priest, Dio, and Iron Maiden. Its lineup features vocalist Jake Rogers, lead guitar player Leeland Campana, guitarist Jamison Palmer, bass player Matt Brotherton, and drummer Mikey Tee. The group’s first EP, The Final Spell, appeared in 2012 and secured a contract with Metal Blade, which issued the band’s debut full-length album, Revenant King, in early 2015. Their aggressive second album, Conquerer's Oath, arrived in early 2018.
