Biography
Originating from the West Coast, Haunt functions as a hard rock and heavy metal quartet that evokes the grandeur, sonic force, and guitar-harmony-driven momentum of New Wave of British Heavy Metal stalwarts including Judas Priest, Angel Witch, and Iron Maiden.
Formed in Fresno, California, the outfit started as a solo outlet for Trevor William Church, the former vocalist and guitarist of Beastmaker, before expanding to feature guitarist and backing vocalist John Tucker, another Beastmaker alumnus, plus bassist Taylor Hollman and drummer Daniel Wilson. Their first release arrived in 2017 as the EP Luminous Eyes. The full-length Burst into Flame appeared the following year on Shadow Kingdom Records. They quickly returned to the studio, issuing the second EP Mosaic Vision in early 2019 and the follow-up album If Icarus Could Fly that May. Their third album, Mind Freeze, surfaced less than a year later.
