Biography
Born in Espoo, Finland on September 2, 1972, Vuokko Hovatta first gained recognition for her acting work during the closing years of the 1990s. In the years following the millennium she moved from Finnish television roles into international cinema. Her 2008 pop album debut, Lempieläimiä, appeared on Sony BMG, reached number three on the Finnish charts, and contained the singles "Syleily," "Virginia," "Helise Taivas," and "Lumottu Veli," marking her arrival among the country's top five albums.
