Biography
Wild Light, the indie rock band from New Hampshire, saw its members connect while still in high school, though the group only secured their complete focus after college when the project restarted in 2005. Tim Kyle, Seth Pitman, Jordan Alexander, and Seth Kasper began shaping songs in the basement of a shared house before bringing the material to live audiences. The resulting attention earned the band opening slots with LCD Soundsystem and Arcade Fire. Because Wild Light’s Tim Kyle once featured in the Arcade lineup, their strong set translated into an invitation to support Arcade Fire across Europe on the subsequent tour. The band’s self-titled debut EP appeared in late 2007. During 2008 they sustained well-received shows and traveled to Los Angeles to record their first full-length album. Rob Schnapf produced Adult Nights, which reached listeners in spring 2009.
