Biography
Will Dailey, the Boston-based singer and songwriter, took up guitar during adolescence before performing regularly at neighborhood pubs as a teenager. In 2004 he sold his car to finance the sessions for his debut album, Goodbyeredbullet, which surfaced the same year and became an unexpected indie success after several tracks landed on series such as What About Brian, Jericho, and MTV's The Hills. A subsequent national tour was halted by appendicitis, and the resulting medical costs left his career prospects uncertain until he obtained a deal with the independent label JS.
That partnership supported the 2007 release of his second album, Back Flipping Forward. CBS Records soon signed him and reissued Back Flipping Forward later in the year, an arrangement that increased his exposure through placements on multiple network programs. Additional material appeared in 2009 via several digital EPs, two of which were combined into the physical collection Torrent 1 & 2, issued in late spring.
