Wonpil

Born in Incheon, South Korea, the singer, songwriter, and keyboardist known as Kim Won-Pil or Wonpil initially developed his musical skills largely on his own. His parents operated a piano academy there, yet he pursued learning the piano independently with little instruction to demonstrate self-reliance. After becoming a member of the JYP Trainees dance team at JYP Entertainment, he transitioned to the company's inaugural band 5live, which specialized in acoustic performances. Wonpil later became part of the boy band Day6, where he remained for six years, ultimately helping to establish Even of Day as the group's pioneering sub-unit. In 2022, he released his first solo project titled Pilmography.
