Biography
Yaire, the Puerto Rican singer and songwriter whose father is musician Eloy Monrozeau, wrote her earliest song at age eight and soon earned recognition as the youngest ASCAP honoree for “Mujer de Fuego,” the composition Olga Tañon recorded. While also supplying material to established local vocalists such as Giselle and Melina León, she released her debut album Formas de Vida in 1998. Miguel Blasco produced her follow-up, the 2001 self-titled set Yaire, in Madrid, Spain.
