Ying Yang Twins

Atlanta's party rap duo Ying Yang Twins broke through when "Whistle While You Twurk" began receiving national exposure across urban and crossover formats. Later that year their debut full-length, Thug Walkin', arrived in stores. Although Alley...Return of the Ying Yang Twins moved briskly throughout the South in 2002, national attention arrived the following year after the pair linked with Lil Jon, "the King of Crunk." The resulting party anthem "Salt Shaker" exploded in clubs and on radio, prompting TVT to pursue a deal. Once signed, the duo delivered Me & My Brother, which spawned the additional crunk singles "What's Happnin!" and "Naggin'." That same year they guested on Britney Spears' In the Zone and appeared with her on the accompanying television special. TVT followed with the 2004 remix collection My Brother & Me, packaged with a DVD compiling the group's videos. USA (United State of Atlanta) landed in summer 2005 while "Wait (The Whisper Song)" ruled urban airwaves; Chemically Imbalanced arrived the next year.
