Biography
Susumi Makai, a left-field dance music producer working as a one-man band, issued his debut full-length under the Zongamin name in early 2003. A pair of 12-inch singles on Flesh and XL preceded the project. The XL release collected several tracks that had previously surfaced only on vinyl while adding a few fresh cuts. Makai has also supplied notable remixes to Playgroup—whose DJ Kicks mix spotlighted his “Tunnel Music”—along with Grafiti and Seelenluft.
